Senior Revenue Recognition Analyst

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Revenue Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical and communication skills. This person will need to interpret, present, and explain complex accounting issues to various internal business partners and external auditors, and must be able to develop and manage processes and controls. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist on deal negotiation 
  • Review Sales Quotes
  • Ensure revenue recognition is in accordance with company policy and SaaS revenue recognition accounting standards including ASC 605-25, SAB Topic 13, ASU 2009-13 
  • Assist on the 606 implementation
  • Prepare deal/contract summaries for material completed transactions 
  • Assist with financial audits including reconciliations, support documentation, and communication with external auditors 
  • Assist with month end and quarter end close activities
  • Assist with managing and resolving finance cases
  • Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements 
  • Miscellaneous projects as necessary 

 


REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance 
  • CPA strongly preferred 
  • Public accounting experience with a Big 4 a plus 
  • Must have an advanced knowledge of Excel 
  • 4+ years related experience in a SAAS company
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Detail orientation 
  • Ability to problem solve, both from an accounting and system perspective
  • Ability to work independently but also be a team player 
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize in fast-paced environment 
  • Exceptional project and time management skills 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Intacct is desired but not a must have
